Tell us how you/the venture got started. What compelled you to create/join it?

So I work for an internet marketing company called Hometown Quotes. I'm the Regional Sales Director for the Southeast and New York Area. I work with new and existing insurance agents in securing leads for their agencys), while providing sales and marketing ideas that are customized for each client. I manage a book of business of over

$2M. I've been with the company for years now.

Who are your customers/ community and how do they find you?

My clients are insurance agents, producers, large corporations like State Farm and Allstate, as well as smaller b2b call centers.

What lessons have you learned building a customer base/ community?

The lesson that I can share in regards to building a customer base is:

Always be polite, listen to the clients needs, keep an open line of communication, always follow up even if there's not an opportunity at the present time.

Tell us about one of the biggest obstacles you have faced in your work and how you overcame it:

Biggest obstacle is when I'm not working with my clients face to face or via zoom. I like to see and with my clients in this manner so I can see them but most importantly so they can see me and have full confidence in our products and services. How I overcome it is by asking more questions while building a trusting relationship with the client.

Where do you see the work/venture five years from now?

I'm hoping to retire, but If not, working for a non-profit or volunteering.

What book has inspired you the most? (OR What is your favorite book?)

One of my favorite book(s) is " Don't sweat the small stuff'. The title says it all.

What are your hobbies? What do you do in your non-work time?

Volunteering and doing art.House stuff, read, yard work, and be with family and friends.

What do you love about Tacoma?

The people and the location is what I most enjoy being a member at Union Club

What made you choose Union Club?

A past employee.

What has your experience been like and who would you recommend it for?

My experience has been good and I would recommend Union Club for anyone that likes being downtown, near the water, and enjoys being and working in such a historic building.

Where can people go to support your business/organization or buy your product (website, store, email, phone#?)
